We had a wonderful time in Mexico. It was amazing to return to where we spent our honeymoon and to get to share an all new Mexico experience with Greg and Sally. We will treasure our memories from this trip for many cold winters to come.

Chichen Itza

The pyramid, or the structure known as El Castillo, is the famous image of Chichen Itza. Here I am sitting at the base of it.

Sacred Mayan Cenote

On our way to Chichen Itza, our tour stopped at a sacred Mayan cenote, or underground well. From ground level the cenote was fairly well hidden, but after following some stairs down into the ground…

Back from Mexico

We recently got back from Mexico. Greg and Sally Anderson (Noah’s parents) were very generous in taking us to stay at the Catalonia resort with them.

The resort was beautiful. We were spoiled with sun, sand and waves in the middle of Nebraska winter.
